after all

(no subject)

It's been a busy week, and I'm sooooo glad to have at least part of today to just veg and recover.

The Post Office job, while not being all the way up to grueling, always leaves me with sore muscles and aching hands. The two days working as an exhibitor at the American Library Association show was great fun and well worth the time, but added its own load of fatigue.

Today is Cleaning The House and probably moving my workstation back upstairs. I moved my laptop from the loft office to the kitchen counter months ago to make it easier to timeshare email, cooking, cleaning and online projects. And I like the bonus of being in the middle of everything - I always know where the kid is and what folks are eating. But there isn't convenient room for extra harddrives, and now it's time to hook up the large monitor and Wacom tablet = so back upstairs for me!

Heads up, Seattle area readers

The Flying Karamazov Brothers will be in town Feb 20th at Benaroya Hall.

This musical juggling comedy troupe really needs to be seen to be appreciated, but I can enthusiastically recommmend their shows (even though I haven't been to one in a long time).

Tickets range from $70 for fancy-pants box seats to $30 for a clear but very far view. We're opting for the $50 Orchestra Right.
