What I'm actually doing: admitting to myself that I'll never remember all these interesting links and topics that I've run across in the last couple of days of surfing if I don't collect them up somewhere.
Noted by File 770, Amazon moves to restrict websites who use their data from linking to other booksellers. While I'm sure the short-term result will decrease the amount of exposure the other shops get, the inevitable long-term result will be to establish a new (and possibly more reliable) source of title information. And then Amazon looses much of the reason they have as much influence as they do.
