One of the things that have been really different about living in the Pacific NorthWest is that the weather segues from Spring to Fall and back again, with barely a nod to Summer or Winter. Years will pass between the scant snow days, which is why this morning, still only in November, is such a surprise. The snow is much deeper when you get away from the sheltered corner of the front patio seen here. School will still be held, but opens two hours late. I still plan to drive into the city to work, but I guess it will be a shorter day than normal.
